NTC thermistor improves circuit of poor tracking error of optical module, which is mainly in the process of improving the optical module tracking error TE poor circuit, connect NTC thermistor on the laser driver chip. The NTC thermistor will decrease the resistance value with the increase of temperature. At high temperature, the output laser offset current of the laser driver chip will increases, thus, the optical power of the optical module, whose light power decreases due to TE defects, is increased, and reverts to the normal optical power range, avoiding waste of TOSA or BOSA devices and saving cost of production.

 

In order to achieve the above content, the technical scheme used in this method is as follows:


Improves circuit of poor tracking error of optical module, including laser driver chip, laser driver chip is connected to laser, the laser driver chip is connected to optical power first thermistor, optical power first thermistor is NTC thermistor RNTC. At room temperature 25℃, the resistance value of thermistor RNTC is 50KΩ, at high temperature 90℃, the resistance value is 8KΩ, the resistance value of NTC thermistor RNTC decreases gradually with the increase of temperature. NTC thermistor RNTC is installed in the peripheral circuit of the laser driver chip. Among them, it also includes optical power second thermistor R2, optical power second thermistor R2 and optical power first thermistor RNTC is paralleled together to form the peripheral optical power resistor R of laser driver chip, where R, RNTC and R2 meet the following relation:


The optical module of this method, including a optical transmitting device TOSA of transmit channel, a drive for driving a laser of a TOSA, and a sequentially connected optical transceiver device ROSA and a limiting amplifier for the receiving channel. The driver includes the laser driver chip, the laser driver chip is connected to the laser of TOSA, the laser driver chip is connected to the optical power of the first thermistor, the optical power first thermistor is NTC thermistor RNTC. At room temperature 25℃, the resistance value of thermistor RNTC is 50KΩ, at high temperature 90℃, the resistance value is 8KΩ, the resistance value of NTC thermistorRNTC decreases gradually with the increase of temperature.
