According to statistics from IHS, the top three products in Chinese power semiconductor market are power management IC, MOSFET and IGBT, which account for 60.98%, 20.21% and 13.92% of Chinese power semiconductor market in 2018 respectively.
However, at present, domestic power semiconductor enterprises only begin to widely replace in the field of diode and thyristor, while in the field of MOSFET and IGBT, there is still a big gap with foreign enterprises. In the domestic IGBT market, overseas manufacturers also account for more than 50% of the market share, so the space for domestic substitutes is very broad. According to data of IHS, the world's top 10 IGBT module suppliers account for 77.7% of the total, of which only one domestic company entered the ranking, with a 2% market share. According to ASMC disclosure, more than 90% of IGBT products in China need to be imported. Therefore, the development of domestic IGBT has a long way to go.
