The combined pressure and temperature sensor mainly includes NTC thermistor, pressure sensor, terminals, connector, sleeve, sealing rings, housing and other components. Among them, the NTC thermistor is located in the sleeve and is used for temperature monitoring of the gas; The pressure sensor receives the pressure signal from the sleeve in the cavity to achieve pressure monitoring. As the gas inside the gas engine flows through the front end of the combined pressure and temperature sensor, the resistance value of the NTC increases/decreases according to the change in the temperature of the gas, and this data is transmitted to the processing unit through the connected circuit which is then converted into a temperature reading. When the thermistor detects an abnormal increase/decrease in gas temperature beyond a preset threshold, the temperature signal is converted to an electrical signal and a standard voltage or current signal is output after conversion and calibration by the circuit. These signals are transmitted to the engine control system to trigger a protection mechanism against damage or safety hazards caused by extreme temperature conditions. For example, too low a temperature can cause the inside of the gas tank to freeze, blocking the flow of gases; Excessive temperature can accelerate the aging of materials and even cause accidents such as fires.
